Candidates for this exam operate in medium to very large computing environments that use Exchange 2000 Server, Microsoft Windows® 2000 Active Directory™, and Internet Information Server (IIS). They have a minimum of one year's experience administering Microsoft Exchange environments that have the following characteristics:

  • Multiple physical locations.
  • Mixed client connection protocols such as POP3, IMAP4, MAPI, NNTP, and HTTP.
  • Internet messaging connectivity.
  • Connectivity to foreign mail systems.
